A Technical Illustrator by profession, Billy spent
many years in the corporate world where his work
was nationally recognized. Continuing in his
profession he eventually began working as a
freelance technical artist encountering many
diverse situations and challenges.
Billy first began bodypainting about twenty years
ago and has never looked back.
He's met many wonderful people and enjoys the
feeling of satisfaction seeing the transformation
that takes place in people when they are painted.
"It's like a mask they wear, becoming someone
else for a few hours. Shy people often become
uninhibited wearing their new painted
designs....there's almost a strut in their walk. I've
seen victims of breast cancer shed tears of joy
after being painted, so proud of themselves for
being courageous and proudly overcoming their
fears regarding their body image.....what could be
more satisfying".
